What I am working on: We are working on a study of how communities recover from natural disasters. The five-state team examined the recoveries of Breckenridge, MN (flood), Pilger, NE (tornado), and McCook, NE (drought).

My Achievements: Taylor Syvertson and I completed a seven-video series on Barnesville, MN using the community capitals framework. The project was completed in conjunction with Huston Gibson and Kassi Sprecher (Kansas State University) who prepared a video-series on Wamego, KS.
