The CDS committees provide the leadership and guidance for the society in a number of key areas and offer a great opportunity to become more engaged in CDS. Please look over the list of committees and contact the chair or co-chair for more information on the committee and how you can become involved.

Membership

The Membership Committee is chaired by the Vice Chair of Operations (Cornell Hart) and: (a) recruits, serves, and retains members of CDS; and (b) supports Chapters as directed by the adopted CDS Policies and Operational Guidelines.

 Nominations

The Nominations Committee is chaired by the Secretary (Anthony Cook) or another member of the Board who is not a candidate for re-election. This Committee: (a) solicits board nominations; and (b) completes the elections process as directed by the adopted CDS Policies and Operational Guidelines.

Programs

The Programs Committee is chaired by the Vice Chair of Programs (Justin Fallon Dollard) and: (a) recruits, reviews, and selects conference hosts and sites; (b) supervises the conference program and host sub-committees; (c) develops and proposes professional development programs to the Board of Directors; and (d) supervises professional development programs approved by the Board of Directors as directed by the adopted CDS Policies and Operational Guidelines.

 Stewardship

The Stewardship Committee is chaired by the Treasurer (Bob Bertsch) and: (a) conducts donor outreach; (b) manages donor relationships; (c) oversees endowments and dispersal of donor-directed scholarship funds as directed by the adopted CDS Policies and Operational Guidelines.
