The Community Development Society distributes three regular publications:
JOURNAL OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY
The Journal is a professional peer review journal that features current topics and insightful analysis on a variety of topics relevant to community developers. The Journal recently increased its publication rate to become a quarterly journal. Editors welcome articles and book reviews from both members and non-members.
Issues of the Journal are available in print for CDS members. All CDS members also have access to online back issues of the Journal through the website members only section. Abstracts are available on-line for general viewing. Journal issues are also available in more than 170 libraries. VANGUARD
The Vanguard is a quarterly member newsletter that profiles current activities, topical issues and ideas affecting Community Development Society members. Updates on chapter, section, committee and individual member activities are informative and helpful for members.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PRACTICE SERIES
This newest Community Development Society publication is a series of brief descriptions of techniques that community development practitioners can use in various community development settings.
When released, each issue of CD Practice will be made available on-line.
